Stone Etching Division Our Stone Etching Division can permanently etch letters and designs into all types of stone. Etched stone can be used for house numbers, cornerstones, decoration, remembrance, brick fundraising projects or anything else you can imagine. We have been etching into stone for over seven years. Our client lists includes Cornell University, Pall Corporation, Hospicare, The Cayuga Waterfront Trail, the Sampson Air Force and Navy Museums, The Rock Garden Society, Dryden Mutual Insurance Company and numerous homeowners in the Ithaca and Cortland areas. Our design team can create a new design to capture your intent or use a design that you create. Below are some samples of projects that we have done. What can we do for you?  The stones at right were created for Pall Corporation for the two trailheads of their employee walking trail.Note that the stones are naturally shaped and that the lettering and design are etched into the naturally formed surfaces of the stones. You can also see how the design was altered to fit the unique shape of each stone. These stones are both about 3 feet tall and about 4 feet wide.  For this project, the stones were picked out by SPEC Consulting. Pictures were taken of the stones and e-mailed to Pall for their approval. The designs were then created to fit the shape of each stone. The designs were then sent to Pall for their approval before the final etching of the stones.These stones were etched prior to delivery to the client, but on-site etching can also be done. |
